Signature Works

We upgraded the Severn Trent Water Treatment Sewage Works at Kilburn, Derby, working in association with Eric Wright Water Ltd.

Installed new activated sludge process (ASP) lanes.
Built a new territory solids removal (TSR) system.
Built a chemical dosing plant.
All aspects of groundworks, including laying 375mm & 600mm concrete pipes. Installation of ductile iron pipes ranging from 100mm to 1200mm.
All temporary works.
Supplied Plant & Labour including: Road Sweepers, Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers & Small Tools.
On-site approximately 24 months.

We built the new Fanzone area, at the side of the Bishop Street Stand for Mansfield Town Football Club, which houses a new cafeteria, toilet block, and disabled toilets.

Installation of a pumping sewer for the toilets.
Installed a soak-away for the roof of the Bishop Street stand.
New drainage at the side of the pitch.
New disabled access routes.
New palisade fencing at the gate entry point and the emergency exit at the North stand.
Tarmacked the new car parking spaces.
Painting of all the hoardings and old standing areas.
Repositioned a header tank with a new pumping main, which supplies the water for the pitch sprinkler system.

We constructed a new final effluent pumping main from Toton Sewage Treatment Works to discharge into the River Trent. Approximately 1200 metres in length. We had shuttering joiners on site, installed concrete pads and head walls over a 12-month period.
